What is hypnosis:
Hypnosis is a natural state of the mind such as conscious state or sleep, in which the barrier between conscious and subconscious is relaxed and the selective thinking is maintained.
Hypnosis can produce extraordinary levels of relaxation of mind, body and emotions. It can transcend the critical, analytical level of mind, and facilitate the acceptance of suggestions, directions and instructions desired by the Client. It can also elicit information and insights from the inner mind.
What is hypnotherapy:
Hypnotherapy is working on the subconscious programming while in hypnosis. Hypnotherapy is Client-centered. It utilizes induction of hypnosis, then divers methods and principles to help clients discover their inner creative abilities in order to develop positive thinking and feeling and to transform undesirable habits and behavior patterns.
How does hypnotherapy work:
Hypnotherapy works on the subconscious – on people’s beliefs, emotions, body sensations (specifically pain) – to remove limiting programing and replace it with positive programming. This new programming is positive because it activates people’s personal subconscious positive resources and possibilities and allow themselves to reach their goals.
Goal of hypnotherapy:
The goal of hypnotherapy is to remove the limiting emotions (fear, anger, …), beliefs and sensations (pain) linked to difficult memories or current situations and to replace them with positive and supporting emotions, beliefs, and sensations. These new emotions, beliefs, and sensations come from the client’s inner mind.
Who can be hypnotized:
Everybody can be hypnotized according that the person to be hypnotized (the subject) be willing and cooperative and that he or she trust in the hypnotist. Studies show that the most intelligent the person the easiest hypnosis is.
Difference between meditation and hypnotherapy:
Trance state in meditation and hypnosis are similar. However, when in meditation, people cogitate, ponder, think about a topic, a sentence, relationship or emotions whereas hypnotherapy is working on the subconscious, changing its programing while in hypnosis.
Do people lose control while in hypnosis:
While in hypnosis, people keep control all the time and act only inside their code of ethics. They can lie or edit, and keep secret. Hypnosis can only help people to do what they want to do.
